Yorki

Games and interactive apps

Games, animations, drawing tools and other things people play or operate.

Yorki builds things people play or operate in real time: games and puzzles, quizzes, animations and generative art, simulations, drawing and pixel-art tools, musical instruments, timers and metronomes.

How Yorki treats them

When your request describes something people play, drive, draw or watch, Yorki makes that the centre of the app. The game or tool is on the first screen, with a clear starting state, rather than a landing page about it.

Yorki draws these apps with the browser's own tools: a canvas, vector graphics or ordinary page elements. They start quickly and work without installing anything.

What to say in your prompt

  • The goal. What the player does and how they win or lose.
  • The controls. Keyboard keys, mouse, touch or a game controller.
  • The rules. Scoring, lives, levels, a timer.
  • The feel. Calm or fast, cute or retro, sound or silent.

For example: "A snake game with arrow-key and swipe controls, speed that rises every 5 points, a pause button and a best score."

In the preview

The preview lets your app use full screen, game controllers, sound, mouse capture and file downloads, so you can play it properly while you build.

Good next steps

After the first build, Yorki suggests ideas such as phone controls, sound, levels, a best-score list or a full-screen button. Press one to put it in the composer.
