Your account

Your account holds your projects and credits. You manage it from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

Getting access

Yorki is in an invite-only alpha, and access is approved by hand.

1. Sign up with your email address and a password, or with Google. Confirm your email from the link Yorki sends you.
2. Introduce yourself. Tell us how you found Yorki and write a few words about you and what you would like to build.
3. Wait for the email. You get an email when your access is ready, usually the same day. Check again on the waiting screen refreshes it.

If you typed an idea on the front page before signing up, Yorki keeps it and starts building as soon as you are approved.

Signing in

• Email and password. Passwords need at least 10 characters.
• Google. Press Continue with Google on the sign-in page.
• Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Yorki emails you a link to choose a new one, and your other sessions are signed out.

Your account page

Open the account menu and choose Account:

• Profile. Change the name Yorki greets you with, and see your email and how you sign in.
• Security. Turn on two-factor authentication, so every password sign-in also asks for a code from an authenticator app. Keep the backup codes somewhere safe.
• Sign out other devices. Signs out everyone else using your account. This browser stays signed in.

Your data

• Export a project from Settings, Export at any time. See Code and export.
• Delete a project from Settings, General, Delete project. Type the project's name to confirm. Its chat, cloud data and app are removed, and it leaves Yorki's encrypted backups within 31 days. There is no undo.
• A copy of your data, or deleting your account. Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
