Cloud logs and usage
See the requests your app's cloud answered, and how much it stores.
Your app's cloud keeps a log of the requests it answers. Settings, Cloud, Logs and Usage show it in plain numbers, so you can see what works, what fails and how busy your app is.
Preview or published
Once your app is published, a switch at the top chooses between the Published cloud and the Preview cloud. Before that, both pages show the preview cloud.
Logs
- Requests charts requests and failures over the Last hour, 24 hours or 7 days.
- Slowest paths lists the slowest requests, such as a page of records that takes long to load.
- Failing paths lists requests the cloud answered with an error. Each has Fix in chat.
- Recent requests lists the newest requests first. Filter by All or Errors, search by path or message, and open a row to see the error and who made the request: a visitor, a signed-in user or the platform.
You can Copy the list or download it as JSON or CSV. The published cloud's log refreshes every 30 seconds; the preview's when you press Refresh.
Logs are kept for 7 days. Visitors' IP addresses are not recorded. Times are in UTC.
Usage
- Requests: how many requests, and how many failed, in the last 24 hours and the last 7 days.
- Memory and CPU: the machine behind your published cloud, how long it has been up and whether it restarted.
- Stored: how much of your cloud's room the records (the database) and the uploaded files use, with the per-file limit and the backups (which never count).
- In your cloud: the number of users and the number of records in each table.
Memory, CPU and storage are shown for the published cloud only. Each card has Ask in chat, which opens the composer in Plan mode with a question about it.
Storage limits
Your cloud holds up to 250 MB of records and 10 GB of uploaded files. The meters turn red from 80 %. When one is full, the app keeps working and can be read, but new records or uploads are not saved until you free space. Saving resumes once you are below 95 %. See Cloud.
Fix what you see
- Fix in chat on a failing request puts a request to fix it in the composer. You send it when you are ready.
- The + menu in the composer can attach your cloud's errors, latest requests or usage to any message. See Making changes.
- When visitors to your published app run into a refused request, a notice appears above the composer with Fix it, Ignore and Details. See When something goes wrong.
