Report abuse
Last updated 12 October 2026
Use this page to tell us about an app built with Yorki that breaks the platform rules or the law, to appeal a decision we made, or to report a copyright, trademark or security problem. We read every report and reply by email. Pick the route below that matches your situation, so your report reaches the right review straight away.
Report an app
For an app on yorki.app that breaks the platform rules, for example phishing, a scam, malware, hate or harassment, or other illegal content.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Abuse report" and include:
- the full address of the app, ending in yorki.app, and the page where the problem is;
- what is wrong, and which rule or law you believe it breaks;
- any evidence that helps, such as screenshots or the date and time you saw it;
- for illegal content, why you believe it is illegal.
Give us an email address we can reply to. We do not tell the app's owner who reported their app, except for copyright and trademark notices, where the law gives the owner a right to respond.
If you see sexual content involving a child, do not download, copy or share it, even to report it. Send us the address only, and report it to your national hotline. You can find yours through INHOPE.
If a page tried to steal your password or money, change your password on the real service, contact your bank if you entered card details, and then tell us the address.
Appeal a takedown
If you own an app that we took offline and you believe it was a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject "Takedown appeal". Write from the email address on your account and include the name and address of the app and why you believe it follows the rules. Your project and its data stay unchanged while we look at it.
If Google lists your app as unsafe, the listing is Google's. You can also ask Google to review it through its report an error page.
Appeal an account decision
If your account was suspended or closed, email [email protected] with the subject "Account appeal", from the email address on the account, and tell us why you believe the decision was wrong.
Copyright and trademarks
- To report material that infringes your copyright, send a copyright notice as described in the copyright policy.
- To dispute a copyright removal, send a counter-notice as described in the same policy.
- To report a misuse of your trademark, see the trademark section of the copyright policy.
Security problems in Yorki
If you found a vulnerability in Yorki itself, email [email protected] with the subject "Security report". Describe the problem and how to reproduce it. Please give us reasonable time to fix it before you share it publicly, and do not access other people's data, degrade the service or test against apps you do not own. We do not take legal action against good-faith research that follows these rules.
Privacy requests
To ask about your own personal data, write to [email protected]. If your question is about an app built with Yorki, its owner is responsible for your data in it, but we can pass your request on.
Authorities
Authorities in the European Union and elsewhere can contact us about illegal content or orders concerning Yorki at [email protected]. We answer in English.
What happens after you report
- We confirm that we received your report, usually the same day.
- A person reviews it, usually within 48 hours.
- If the app breaks the rules or the law, we take it offline or take other action, and we tell its owner why.
- We tell you what we decided.
Reports that are incomplete or sent to the wrong route can take longer. Knowingly false reports can lead us to ignore further reports from the same sender.
