Credits
How credits are counted, what is free, and where to see what each request used.
Yorki counts the work it does for you in credits. During the alpha, Yorki is free: every tester gets a monthly allowance of 100 credits.
How credits are counted
A request is made of steps, and each step is a call to an AI model: planning, writing code, checking the design, writing a summary. Yorki counts credits per call:
| Call | Credits |
|---|---|
| Most calls, such as writing code or generating an image | 1 credit each |
| Light calls, such as asking questions, the project notes, a Chat reply or a summary | half a credit each |
| The design review | half a credit per page it looks at |
| A Plan reply | 1 credit |
| A web search Yorki decides it needs for a current fact | 1 credit each, plus the reply it leads to |
| Reading the links in a request, up to three | 1 credit for the request |
When you name a website as the look you want, Yorki opens it from the computer that builds your app and describes its screenshots like an image you attach. That is one call at the full price; the visit itself is free.
A small edit takes a few calls, a first build more. The credits are added up when the request finishes. There is no estimate beforehand, so the Credits page and the menu on each reply are the place to see what things cost.
What is free
- Requests that do not deliver. A build that fails, is stopped or is declined costs nothing.
- Refused requests. Yorki refuses some requests before any work starts.
- Restoring a version, visual edits with Edit in the preview, editing your specification, exporting and publishing.
See what a request used
- The … menu on a reply shows "Worked for" and "Credits used". For a first build, it includes the questions that led to it.
- The Credits page, in the sidebar, shows your credits by day and by project. Open a project to see each request, its type, its status and its credits.
- Settings, General shows a project's total, split into builds and edits, automatic fixes, questions, Chat and Plan.
Your monthly allowance
- The allowance resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Unused credits do not carry over.
- When 5 or fewer are left, a hint under the composer says how many remain.
- A request can start as long as you have at least half a credit left. A build that is already running is never stopped for the limit.
- When you run out, the composer is disabled until the next reset. If you need more before then, write to [email protected].
AI requests are not credits
When your app itself uses AI, for example a chat assistant answering a visitor, it uses AI requests, a separate monthly allowance shown next to your credits on the Credits page. See AI in your app.
After the alpha
Paid plans come later, and testers hear about them first. They will be paid in advance, as a subscription or a credit pack. Yorki never bills you after the fact for usage.
