Yorki

AI in your app

Chat assistants, summaries and images your app makes with AI, and the AI requests they use.

Your app can use AI: a chat assistant that answers your visitors, a summary of a long text, sorting messages into categories, an answer drawn from a document, or an image made on demand. Yorki runs the AI for you, so you need no account with an AI company and no key of your own.

Ask for an AI feature

Ask for it like any other feature, for example "Add a chat assistant that answers questions about our opening hours and menu". Yorki builds the page, the part that talks to the AI and the instructions the AI follows. The instructions stay on your app's server side; your visitors never see them.

Yorki's reply tells you when a change uses AI, so you always know which features count against your AI requests.

What an AI request is

Every time your app asks the AI something, it uses AI requests. They are separate from your credits: building and changing your app never uses AI requests, and your app's AI never uses credits.

Your plan includes 10 AI requests a month for all your apps together. They refill on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC, and unused ones do not carry over. When they are used up, your apps draw on AI request packs on your account, if you have any. Packs never expire. During the alpha, write to [email protected] if you need a pack.

What is free:

  • Calls your app makes in the preview while Yorki is building it, for example when Yorki checks that the feature works.
  • A call that fails, or that the AI refuses to answer.

The models

Your app can use GPT-6 Luna (the default), Claude Haiku 5.5 and Gemini 2.5 Flash-lite for text, and Gemini image (the default) for images. Yorki picks the default unless you ask for another one in the chat. Every text model costs the same.

Who can use it

By default only people signed in to your app can use its AI features. A visitor sees "Sign in to use this feature" instead.

To let every visitor use them, open Settings, AI and turn on Visitors may use AI. Every visitor's question then counts against your AI requests, so keep an eye on your usage.

Limits

  • Each app may make up to 60 AI calls a minute.
  • Each app may make up to 500 AI calls a day. Under Settings, AI you can set a lower daily limit, between 1 and 2,000.
  • A very long text is refused, and a reply has a maximum length. A chat assistant or a summary stays well within both.

When AI is not available

Your app shows one short line instead of an answer, and everything else in it keeps working:

  • "AI is not available right now": your AI requests for the month are used up, AI is paused, or the AI service did not answer.
  • "Too many requests, try again in a moment": the app reached its limit for the minute or for the day.
  • "Sign in to use this feature": a visitor tried while only signed-in people may use AI.

Your usage

  • Settings, AI shows the AI requests used this month, packs, the daily limit, this app's calls by model and its last 14 days.
  • The Credits page shows your AI requests next to your credits, and which app used how many.

The AI key

Yorki creates a key for each app and keeps it on your app's server side. It is listed under Settings, Integrations as YORKI_AI_KEY, managed by Yorki. If you think it leaked, open Settings, AI and press Re-mint: the old key stops working at once and your preview and published app switch to the new one within a minute.

Your data

What your app sends to the AI, such as your visitors' questions, goes to the company that runs the model through Yorki's AI service partner. They may not keep it or use it to train their models. The privacy policy lists them.
